It was a pretty short trip due to our way of working. We both (Lena and me) have to be at our work each friday. The trip's target is small town called Shebekino, where live Lena's aunt Raya. Aunt Raya live lonely last one year, because her mother, with which she lived through all her life, died year ago at age 92. That was the ceremonial cause for our visit.
The first photo taken on the Belgorod's ground. The train that bring us to there is on left part of photo. The word on the coach is 'Белогорье', it may be translated as а 'white-mountains-country'. You will see below those white mountains. Pay attention to the paving, it is new. And the facework of station's building on right side, it's new too. I saw same paving and same facework everywhere. The impression is like all builder going mad. It proves to be the story behind it. As far as i heard the director of factory where all those materials are making is a relative to some man in Belgorod's government. Quite useful, isn't it?
It is Shebekino at morning. Most people are still sleep. Very clean, neat and decent city. It located about 35 km to the south from Belgorod. We were in Belgorod only at rain station. It give us the same impression as Shebekino only it is much bigger. Belgorod can be translated as a WhiteTown.
By the way, later i partly got the answer why there is so clean. When we asked Coca-Cola in small shop, it became clear that that food item is here only for decoration. People are very poor there, and they usually never buy such unnecessary things, so there is clean because people haven't packs to throw for. They are fishing and planting not for pleasure but just for living. But in the same time i saw many pretty luxurious cars there. It's bloody badly difference.
Did you notice the paving? Aha!
It's a spring near aunt's house. Owing to hot climat and good soil all green growing things are very saturated there.
It was the time, before collapse of soviets, when Shebekino was chemical industry city. And the water in this spring often tint in various most impossible colors. And you say 'the asbestos'. :)
The city's beautiful pine park after the rain at evening.
To be continued. (Tired from english :))
Ah! Nearly forget, as were promised the mountains.
Yes, they are not mountains, just hills, but for people that live mainly on flat ground, they are like mountains. And there is a little diviated language, half ukranian, and the word 'горы' (mountains) may means all you want.
