At first, i mean at first years of my life, i thought we live in such beautiful country. I remembered i thought - 'how lucky i am being born here, and not in those horrible countries'. The term 'those countries' include all country exept USSR. It was in the seventies.
VERY STRANGE THING. How might it be possible to fool a kid in thay way? It seems incredible. Nevertheless it was really. I was born and grown up surrounded by people why think so, and i never have an alternative. So i thought like they thought. Terrible... But! A little after, i had heard the Russian Rock. And all things had changed since ever.
Now i very seldom listen it. It rather depressive. But i love very bold and 'never was before' way they did it in their time. Never will be such a music. They are not skilful musicants but they are revolutionaries in good sense of this word.
This is one band from several. Tha Band called 'Nautilus Pompilius'.
This song was like symbol, like hymn, like call for do something at last. Very popular song was. In this time popular songs are BS.
'The khaki globe'
I tried to translate the lyric. Do not beat me hard :)))
The lyric:
Was Colourless, was pure clear
was Transparent, became absolutely White
Seems someone decided there is the Winter
and had covered my with the chalk
Would be White though would be clean
even if cold but with bright eyes
But someone decided there is the War
and covered me with Black
I see the Colour where i was not
I hear the Colour. I feel the Colour
I don't want to know all those who is already painting the sky
I see the song far away but i hear only 'marsh marsh left! marsh marsh right!'
I have not seen the people more horrible than khaki colored people
Would be Black let be even the devil himself
But someone chief, who ever want to attack
commanded to advance on the Summer and trampled me in the Khaki
I see the smoke where i was not
I feel the burning
I don't want to know that scum who will burn this sky
Do not touch the sky! I don't want to know who sing the song
'marsh marsh left! marsh marsh right!'
I hadn't seen the painting more worse than the 'The Khaki Globe'
marsh marsh left! marsh marsh right!
marsh marsh left! marsh marsh right!

The trip to the Belgorod
It was a pretty short trip due to our way of working. We both (Lena and me) have to be at our work each friday. The trip's target is small town called Shebekino, where live Lena's aunt Raya. Aunt Raya live lonely last one year, because her mother, with which she lived through all her life, died year ago at age 92. That was the ceremonial cause for our visit.
The first photo taken on the Belgorod's ground. The train that bring us to there is on left part of photo. The word on the coach is 'Белогорье', it may be translated as а 'white-mountains-country'. You will see below those white mountains. Pay attention to the paving, it is new. And the facework of station's building on right side, it's new too. I saw same paving and same facework everywhere. The impression is like all builder going mad. It proves to be the story behind it. As far as i heard the director of factory where all those materials are making is a relative to some man in Belgorod's government. Quite useful, isn't it?
It is Shebekino at morning. Most people are still sleep. Very clean, neat and decent city. It located about 35 km to the south from Belgorod. We were in Belgorod only at rain station. It give us the same impression as Shebekino only it is much bigger. Belgorod can be translated as a WhiteTown.
By the way, later i partly got the answer why there is so clean. When we asked Coca-Cola in small shop, it became clear that that food item is here only for decoration. People are very poor there, and they usually never buy such unnecessary things, so there is clean because people haven't packs to throw for. They are fishing and planting not for pleasure but just for living. But in the same time i saw many pretty luxurious cars there. It's bloody badly difference.
Did you notice the paving? Aha!
It's a spring near aunt's house. Owing to hot climat and good soil all green growing things are very saturated there.
It was the time, before collapse of soviets, when Shebekino was chemical industry city. And the water in this spring often tint in various most impossible colors. And you say 'the asbestos'. :)
The city's beautiful pine park after the rain at evening.
To be continued. (Tired from english :))
Ah! Nearly forget, as were promised the mountains.
Yes, they are not mountains, just hills, but for people that live mainly on flat ground, they are like mountains. And there is a little diviated language, half ukranian, and the word 'горы' (mountains) may means all you want.

How we went for the basil
Once we made a good dish. I do not know how it called, kind of chees roll, but i sure you, it was very tasty. Of course we decided to make it again. And anybody who decided to make it, need several thigs: for the first it is the chees slices.
